LUCY Breakers Expert Review

Lucy Breakers is a really interesting new format of nicotine pouches. You may be familiar with Lucy because they make a popular line of nicotine gum. Over the past few years, they’ve gradually been expanding into nicotine pouches. But, what makes this one interesting is that it has something very unique, something no other nicotine pouch on the market has: a flavor/moisture capsule inside the pouch.
LUCY Breakers Mint
It’s no secret that mint nicotine pouches are popular. Today, we’re going to be talking about a relatively different form of mint nicotine pouches: Lucy Breakers. These are nicotine pouches that actually contain a little capsule that you can pop when you have the pouch in your lip that will release more flavor, and moisture. So, you get the mint flavor profile, but just a little bit extra thanks to the capsule that is within the pouch. What’s more, they are produced using 100% tobacco free, synthetic nicotine.
In the aroma, it smells most closely to peppermint. It’s a little sweet, and has a focused, icy aroma. I put a pouch in and pop the capsule with my teeth to release the flavor. The pouch is smaller in size and starts off dry, but moistens up over time. There is a little cooling in the lip because it’s a mint product, which is common. In the flavor profile, the mint flavor is clear, fresh, and just a little sweet. I’m using the 8mg one, which feels to be at the regular strength level. However, if you want a little lighter strength you can use the 4mg one, which has a little less kick. On average, I find the flavor hangs out a good 30-35 minutes.
Product specifics:
Can Weight: 8g
Portion Format: Slim Nicotine Pouches
Portion Count: 15 pouches
Portion Weight: 0.53 grams each
Available Nicotine Strengths: 4mg/pouch and 8mg/pouch
Wrap-Up & Recommendation:
The Lucy brand offers a lot of different flavors and strength, so wherever you find yourself on the nicotine pouch spectrum, you can find a product that meets what you’re looking for. From mint, to cinnamon, to mango, there’s something for everyone in this family!
Snubie’s Opinion:
These Lucy Breakers really took me by surprise - I have never before tried a product like these! I thoroughly enjoyed using these and felt that they work both with and without a broken capsule (but why would you decide to keep the capsule intact when you can enjoy an incredible flavor release!). For those who do break the capsule, there is a flood of lightly sweet peppermint flavor hitting you instantaneously along with moisture and a juicy feel. These pouches are in no way dry or uncomfortable, I really, honestly, enjoyed these!
LUCY Breakers Apple Ice
Apple isn’t the most common flavor with nicotine pouches, or smokeless products in general. So, when I read “Apple Ice”, I was certainly curious to see what this one was all about. Lucy, as a brand, I’m pretty familiar with. They have a lot of nicotine pouches on the market, but the breakers format is certainly more interesting than most of the other offerings they make. This one has a little flavor capsule in it which you can pop, and get a bonus amount of flavor and moisture. So, if you’re as curious as I am, let’s jump into it and check this one out!
Opening up the can, I notice a little apple aroma coming through, and it’s followed up by a little minty nature to it. I put in one of the pouches and quickly pop the capsule to release that extra moisture and get the flavor going. It has a little freshness in the lip, but not as much as a standard mint product does. In the flavor profile, it’s an interesting one. The apple flavor is present, and not lacking. It does have a minty tone to it, but it’s not overly minty. There’s some sweetness to this one, but it’s not over the top. I used the 8mg one more, and found it to be right at the regular strength mark, which is more in line with what I use. However, the 4mg one wasn’t too bad, and is a good fit for those who want something a little lighter. I found a decent 40-45 minutes of flavor longevity with this one, too.

Wrap-Up & Recommendation:
Whether you go for standard Lucy or Lucy Breakers, there’s something for everyone in the Lucy family. I’m more partial to their mango flavors myself, but there’s lots of offerings out there depending on what you’re into. So, dive into the Lucy brand and see what your new favorite is!
Snubie’s Opinion:
When you review as many nicotine pouches (and other smokeless products) as I do, it can be difficult to remember every little detail about them - many are simply so incredibly similar in flavor, feel and nicotine strength! But, every now and then something new and innovative comes along that completely changes the game. Lucy Breakers is one of these! When it comes to their flavor, I can't recommend the Apple Ice enough to fruity mint lovers, this product will give you a juicy and comfortable flavor experience!
LUCY Breakers Mango
I’m a bit of a beach bum. I always find myself most comfortable in tropical climates, so mango flavors are ones that I gravitate towards. Even if I’m not on the beach, it’s the thought that counts. So, when I saw Lucy made a mango flavor, it was one I definitely wanted to check out. The Lucy line offers a fairly decent amount of flavors, but the main thing I like about them is their product quality. Each product in the Lucy family is made in Sweden, and has the high quality that you get from Swedish nicotine pouches. This one also comes in the Breakers format, which means there’s a little flavor capsule in there to release extra flavor and moisture! So, we have some Lucy Mango here today, let’s talk about it!
Opening up the can, I pick up a nice, tropical mango aroma. The pouches are a little dry at first, but feel pretty comfortable under the lip. And the longer I keep them under the lip, the more moist and soft they get. Plus, the capsule helps with that. I popped the capsule pretty quick with my teeth once I got it in, and liked the rush of flavor and moisture that came after doing so. The flavor comes on pretty quickly, and is a nice, summery, tropical taste of mango. It’s lightly sweet, but pretty natural in presence. I had a couple of strengths to try out and found I liked the 8mg strength more, as it was closer to regular strength and what I use myself. The 4mg one was a little lighter. While not for me, it’s a good fit for those who don’t have stronger nicotine cravings and want something more gentle. The flavor hangs out a good 30-35 minutes, which isn’t too bad!

If you’re a nicotine pouch enthusiast, you’ll be pleased with Lucy. Whether you use a standard Lucy product or a Lucy Breakers product, you’ll notice that they are some of the higher quality nicotine pouches out there. There’s a wide array of flavors and strengths in the Lucy brand, so jump in, try out Lucy, and you may be quite surprised that the brand becomes your new favorite!
Snubie’s Opinion:
I like anything mango, it’s one of my favorite flavors. In the summer I use a lot of tropical stuff. But, the flavor on this one is quite good, and approachable, that I could use this anytime. I definitely suggest checking it out – it’s really tasty!
